A leaked image seems to confirm that the Galaxy S5 has a fingerprint scanner. Where it is exactly is still unclear. It would appear, confirmed some specifications of the new flagship of Samsung.

Starting with the fingerprint scanner. There is a file surfaced called “FingerprintService.apk” that little to be desired. Earlier it was rumored that the successor of the Galaxy S4 would dispose of an iris scanner but Samsung showed itself rather know that the technology is still in its infancy. A fingerprint scanner is a nice intermediate stage, mainly because Apple already employs it in the iPhone 5S.

Another property that seems to have been confirmed, the display screen, and then in particular the resolution. Another surfaced file says “WQHD” what better known as QHD. This is a resolution of 2,560 by 1,440 pixels. However, another rumor says that Samsung holds on to the 1080p resolution. There may be two variants of the device. The screen diagonal is probably out at 5.2 inches. A fraction more so than the current Galaxy S4.
