Samsung Galaxy comes with Camera 2 and NX30 - Techzine (Blog)

Samsung has this week announced two new cameras. It is successor of the Galaxy Camera and the NX20, which bear the names Galaxy 2 and Galaxy Camera NX30.

Galaxy Camera (review) was Samsung’s first camera with Android on board. Not much later, Samsung also came with an SLR called Galaxy NX, which not only Android the shots, but the lens is interchangeable. However, the NX30 is a successor to the NX20, which runs Android, but no proprietary software from Samsung.

Galaxy Camera 2 the Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 retains a sensor photos with a resolution of 16 megapixels and captures up 21x optical zoom and screen size remains stabbing at 4.8 inches. However, there are certainly improvements, the battery capacity will increase from 1,650 to 2,000 mAh, the 200 MHz processor running faster and the memory is doubled to 2GB

The camera can also record slow motion at 120 frames per second. and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is the active system.

NX30
The sensor in the NX30 captures images still stuck in a format 20.3 megapixel, but has become a lot faster. For example, the camera shoots 9 frames per second. The 3-inch touch screen has a higher resolution and clarity received and displays 720 x 480 pixels with a maximum brightness of 500 nits.

Samsung also bundles the professional camera with Adobe Lightroom 5.

Availability
It is still unclear if Samsung wants to bring the Galaxy and Galaxy NX30 Camera 2 on the market and what the cameras will cost. Images from the cameras can be found in the gallery for this article.
