Samsung Galaxy S5: 5-inch display WQHD

4K Ultra HD screen technology was at the IFA electronics fair in Berlin in September 2013, seen on many TVs. Samsung wants to bring technology within two years from its smartphones. This year’s mobile technology is probably not yet ready for Ultra HD displays (which have a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels). Instead, Samsung could – according to rumors – the Galaxy S5 a first step (or intermediate step) to do, by providing a WQHD (2,560 x 1,440 pixels, also called 2K) display (of 5 device to Ultra HD – inch or 5.3-inch).

Samsung Galaxy S5: 64-bit processor

Galaxy S5 will reportedly include a self-developed by Samsung 64-bit chip. Samsung does not intend to lag behind rival Apple that 5S first 64-bit chip (ironically, also developed by Samsung) in a smartphone set (end of 2013) in the iPhone.

Galaxy S5 runs almost certain to Google’s latest operating system, Android 4.4 KitKat. Android 4.4 compared to version 4.3 offers a new design, faster performance, better battery life, integration of Google Cloud Print in the operating system, Google + Hangouts with SMS integration, screen recording and comprehensive NFC support. Reportedly, the Galaxy S5 also features a completely revamped edition of Samsung’s TouchWiz interface.

If we are to believe the rumors are getting the Galaxy S5 include a 16-megapixel camera. The current Galaxy S4 is equipped with a 13-megapixel camera.
