At the IFA in Berlin, the Samsung Galaxy Gear officially announced and then only had support for Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Today Samsung announced that this smart watch also works with the Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung Galaxy S III Samsung Galaxy Note II, but also with the Samsung Galaxy mini S4, S4 Active Galaxy, Galaxy Mega Zoom and S4. The compatibility is added by a software update, but whether this is Android 4.3, is not clear. But we already know that Samsung Android 4.3 to testing for a number of devices.
