"Sports Accessory Galaxy Band beginning in 2014 on the market" - Android Planet

Samsung working on a sports accessory called the Galaxy Band. The accessory is equipped with various sensors that collect information about the activities of the wearer, mainly sports-related activities such as walking, hiking and cycling. Such information would be by means of a built-in pedometer and speedometer are collected.

There would also sensors for, among other things, the temperature, heart rate, drug and air humidity are provided. This is the Galaxy Tape is a very complete fitness accessory that users may keep their performance and environmental influences.

Galaxy band would be a somewhat broad band that is deformable and can display information to the user. By displaying the information is available, the Galaxy Band with a (small) screen. The accessory would connect via Bluetooth to devices and compete with the Nike Fuelband, Fitbit Flex and of course the M7 processor of the iPhone 5S.

It is possible that the Galaxy Band together with the Samsung Galaxy S5 is announced. The latter is likely to be launched in the first quarter of 2014.
