We mentioned a while on a Samsung Galaxy SmartWatch called Gear, but so far there are not really pictures surfaced of the device. Until today, however, because it seems that we now have the first images.

And they are not pretty. We see a bulky and rather rough watch . Moreover, we do not know how big the pulse of the gentleman in the picture, but let’s hope not very big. The watch is in fact gigantic. In itself no surprise because the screen of the Galaxy Gear is reportedly 2.5 inches in diameter. By comparison, that is larger than the screen on the Nokia E52! But then your wrist!

In all honesty, there are rumors that this is a prototype or developer edition, and that the final product is more finished and ‘sexier’ look. Nevertheless, it is a great product that is hardly different from existing GSM watch such as the Samsung S9110, LG GD910 and Sony’s SmartWatch. We had hoped for a more innovative device with curved flexible display. Maybe something for next year.
