Talk Chris talks about his role in 'Guardians of the Galaxy "- Total Film

Chris Pratt, who Peter Quill aka Star-Lord plays in Guardians of the Galaxy , recently had an interview with Fandango fall why he wanted to play.

” Just the fact that he is part of the Marvel Universe was reason enough. I had even signed before I had read the script, even so it was not a particular feature of the character which I have accepted the role. The fact that it’s a Marvel movie, was reason enough. Once I read the script, however, I found plenty of things that I love about the character. He is deep inside a bit of a child, an adult child. He does act tough, but is actually lonely and desperate.”

Guardians of the Galaxy is an eclectic mix of characters who must work to defend against an enemy of the universe together epic proportions. The director of the film is in the hands of James Gunn and the cast includes besides Pratt from eg Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Vin Diesel as Large, Michael Rooker, Benicio Del Toro, Glenn Close and John C. Reilly.
