Rumor: Galaxy S5 gets Ultra HD display According to the latest rumors are getting the Samsung Galaxy S5, which may be presented early next year, a light version of a 4K Ultra HD display.

November 16, 2013 – 4K Ultra HD screen technology was at the IFA electronics fair, last September in Berlin, seen on many TVs. Samsung also wants to bring the technology within two years to its smartphones. Next year is the mobile technology probably not ready for Ultra HD displays (which have a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels). Instead Samsung rumored-next year with the Galaxy S5 a first step (or intermediate step) to Ultra to do, by providing a WQHD (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) display.

Earlier rumors claimed that the Galaxy S5 also features a new aluminum design, a new 64-bit chip, improved camera technology (16-megapixel) and Android 4.4 KitKat.
